Figuring out which foods are best for weight loss can be confusing. Luckily, there’s a way to make healthy eating decisions much easier. FoodGauge is an app designed to analyze the nutritional value of the food you eat. It takes the guesswork out of your weight loss diet.

How to Interperet FoodGauge Results
- 4 – 5: Eat freely. These foods are the most likely to help you lose weight. These are food high in protein and/or fiber, like lean meats, fish, eggs, vegetables, and fruit.
- 3: Eat in moderation. These foods may not lead to weight gain, but they may not help you lose weight either. When possible, choose a 4 or 5 food instead.
- 1 – 2: Eat sparingly. These foods are the most likely to lead to weight gain and should usually be avoided. These foods tend to be high in carbohydrates and/or fat like sweets, butter, and cereal.
